My name is Ali, and this is my blog where I rant about things and post pictures of things that may or may not be relevant to your life.
I do not enjoy being categorized or stereotyped, because 99% of your presumptions will be false. I consider myself somewhat of a chameleon, though I will always be real with you as a friend.
I am a student of communications and media, and a citizen of the world. My friends consider me a fashionista and I’m rarely afraid to try something once. I have traveled to over 12 countries and plan to make learning about the world and those who live within it a life goal.
I am Canadian but I do not speak French fluently. I do not live in an igloo. It rarely snows where I live. Cariboo do not wander free in my backyard.
I like camping, drinking wine & sangria, moleskines, non-fiction books, all things paranormal, a variety of music (but particularly electronic), coffee, mason jars, balmy summer nights, crisp and sunny fall days, and horror movies.
I despise moths. Butterflies are ok, but I’d rather not be around them.
I wish someone would invent a teleportation device.
I have a sixth sense. You can ask me about the story sometime if you’d like.
My closest friends do not live locally, and I have made lifelong friends while traveling. I find people interesting, and I could never define what “type” of people I am friends with.
I play the piano and own an acoustic guitar that I cannot play (although I wish I could). I used to train with an opera singer for voice lessons.
I took dance for 8 years— both Ballet and Jazz. I regret having to give up both.
Barcelona is my favorite city that I have visited. Related to this, Vicky Cristina Barcelona is my favorite movie.
